This museum is a delightful mixed bag of eras, from native Yurok people to near-present day. They have a room with a nice collection of Victorian era things. There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.

The tour guide was very nice, knowledgeable, helpful. You go at your own pace, and there aren't many people there, so you can see all that they have.

By reading their website ahead of time, we expected a much bigger and better displayed museum. Although some of the displays were very interesting the entire museum left much to be desired

Take time to step back in time and learn about the history of the area. Great for the family. Exhibits are well done and the staff are helpful.

The main reason to look at the museum is the incredible collection of Native American basketry, if you are interested in this. What a surprise! I wandered into the museum because I had nothing else to do. It had a lot of the usual old...More
