This beautiful old lumber baron’s mansion is now a private club. It is thought to be the most photographed Victorian ever.
It is truly spectacular. Also, look across the street at the Pink Lady. The baron’s daughter’s wedding gift.
This is one of those places you can only walk by to see the outside but cannot go in, unfortunately. It is very grandiose and beautifully maintained. I would pay admission to go inside if they allowed it. At least worth a drive-by.

I love to see old homes particularly of Victorian era. This was truly a delight. Unfortunately it is not open to the public. It's a shame because I'm sure many visitors like me would like to get a closer look.
