Nothing fancy at this stop, including the kayaks, but it was a lovely way to spend a gorgeous day on the Russian River, before tasting delicious Chardonnay at nearby wineries.

Burke's is well organized and moderately priced. You can park at the camp and they will bring you back at the end of your journey. The canoes and paddles are in decent condition and the life jackets are serviceable. There are no dry bags for...More

The nature is beautiful but the river is clogged with people you hope to avoid in your spare time. This is really a must-miss unless you don't mind watching the worst of America chugging beers. It took 1 hour from the moment we stood in...More

So glad we did this. We rented a canoe and 2 kayaks (There were six of us). They give you a window of time to check in, but get there early. Once you launch, the adventure begins! There's lots of little places to beach your...More

We didn't see any people with dogs in their canoes! And if there are dogs at any of the private beaches, canoe renters are not allowed to land there anyway.
