Not much to see here. The visitor center is not worth stopping at except to see the whale bones. The boardwalk was nice. The tide pools did not have much to look at, just a few anemone and few (we found 2) starfish - that's...More

I have been to MacKerricher, I don't RV so I just go for the stunning view. Loads of camping spots. I have friends that camp there several times a year, they love it. It has been a couple years since I last visited.

Wonderful day despite the grey sky. We first started with the boardwalk, which was a nice walk with easy access and great views of the ocean and we had fun looking at the tide pools. There are also a few picnic tables, which was handy....More

Camping, day use and a boardwalk leading to the rocky shore make this a place you can enjoy for hours. You can see birds and wildlife, visit the tide pools and take great pictures. Very educational, too!

Mac Kerricher State Park boasts a seal viewing platform, hiking trails, camping and picnicking areas! And get ready for this.....you can visit for day use free! I haven't camped there, so I don't know what the camping fee is.

My husband and I love visiting Fort Bragg and the Mendocino coast. The coast line is so beautiful and tranquil. It stole our hearts years ago, and each year brings a new adventure. One of the beaches we came across this trip was MacKerricher State...More

The boardwalk is out near the ocean. Follow the road under the trestle out to the big parking lot overlooking the huge beach and ocean, next to the restroom buildings. Not sure if the road is repaired yet and you can drive... More
