This is one of those "there is only one like it" places. It's particularly fun to go with a friend. You start with a tea/enzyme, then you are "raked into" a cedar bath where the enzymes cleanse your system. Funniest part (ahem) is afterwards, when you are showering and "helping" your friend get the cedar out from .... places. Honestly... More

we had driven by Osmosis on many occasions, and only heard about it. We started out with the cedar bath, which was pretty awesome! a bit different than most spa treatments I've ever had, but it really brings you back to earth, connects you with nature. you're looking out at a garden behind the spa during your bath. we then... I've only experienced massages but they've always been phenomenal my sister in law received a pregnancy massage and loved it a great deal as well. The grounds are so peaceful so lovely. There was a slight error with female vs male therapists but it wasn't fixed within seconds. Excellent problem solving. The only other downside is when I did get... More

This was my second time enjoying Osmosis Day Spa. Myself and 4 other ladies, raging in ages from 19-74. We had a group package that started with foot Cedar soak with tea. This was new to me and 2 of my fellow companions, as we had done the full body Cedar soaks before. It was a pleasant way to enjoy... More

My husband and I went to Osmosis Spa Sanctuary late Sunday night. It was their only availability and we were disappointed that we did not have an opportunity to visit the gardens and experience the tranquility that everyone wrote about in their reviews. We both visit our spa monthly for massages and other treatments, so perhaps we were a bit... More

My husband and I enjoyed 75 minute massages here recently which we booked in their outdoor pagodas........little houses behind the meditation garden. You can feel the breeze and hear leaves rustling during the massage. As usual, the massages were excellent. They do a great job of finding great body workers who are attentive and caring. It's also a wonderful outing... More

We heard about this place on the radio as we were driving through Point Reyes. Not really the way you should pick a place to get a massage, but we decided to go for it as we often get massages on our getaways/vacations. We pulled into this unassuming house that is the Spa and both of us said..."this will either... More

My husband and I went for the couples Cedar bath and massage just on a whim. We are not by any stretch of the imagination spa enthusiasts but loved this very relaxing spa experience. The staff was excellent, very professional and didn't make you feel uncomfortable at ALL! Michelle M, Riya, and Laurie were so GREAT! A must go if... More

This is truly an amazing day spa experience! Attention to every detail is paid by the proprietor. The grounds are meticulously manicured in the zen tradition, it truly looks like you stepped into a garden in Kyoto! The hammocks were worth the additional spend. The music therapy is so relaxing and really unique! We enjoyed the meditation garden, and even... More

The small town of Freestone is charming. First time visit to the spa - I scheduled both the cedar enzyme bath and a massage. The staff is excellent; very welcoming, helpful and friendly. So the rooms are private, but you have a personal bath attendant. The bath is much like being buried in sand, except the cedar mixture generates heat... More
