Used to daily hike here but the parking fees stopped all visits. Very blinding sunny on bay side, super windy and no escape back if you have a problem....very long.

This is a rustic park with wonderful views of the bay and beyond, Great place for a family hike and picnic. Bring a jacket as even on warm days, the bay can bring fog and a chilly breeze.

Great place to walk your dog. There is a trail that goes up a hill next to the museum/office, which is available for those wanting a more strenuous hike.

It had been 30 years since I'd come here. Everything is here that is good. Birds, marsh, bay, hills, good smell.

The few times I've been here it has been very uncrowded and quiet. It's a wonderful place for short, easy hikes with beautiful views of the bay and plenty of shore birds to spot. Lots of parking and easy access to the trails.

The park opens at 8 AM. There is a gated entrance with an entrance fee to drive into the main park. There is also a parking area outside of the gate that you could probably use when the park entrance is closed. You can walk... More
