The family that owns and runs this winery are fearless. Wines that are feckless are to be expected, but some of the experimental vintages are not to be missed! My favorite example is the Vin Mocca, yes mocha wine! try it it was so startlingly good I had to buy it.

Along the new south county Wine Trail, Kirigin has established itself as one of the new, major players in this wine country. It's brand new facilities with a huge, new wine tasting building surrounded by acres of beautifully manicured soccer and cricket fields is impressive to say the least. But, they have kept the original tasting room in its old,... More

Try their vin de Moca - one of a kind wine that is sent around the world. Very pretty scenery with cricket games on weekends on the grounds. Worthwhile to drop by if you passing this winery.

Who knew you could taste really good wine in Gilroy? Made a stop along the way & found a few new favorites! Both the Pinot Grigio & Noire are very drinkable, fruity but not overly sweet! The Petite Sirah is deep, blackberry, heavier tannins, delicious. The Malbec has a great long finish! Put this on your list of places to... More

One of the oldest in the state. Celebrating 100 years. The Tasting is free and trust me you will leave with several Bottle. They sponsor private events and large groups as well. Catering is available as well. Most impressive is that all the grapes are grown onsite except for the Champagne that is grown in Lodi. My Facorite is the... More

This year they are celebrating their 100th Birthday, making this one of the oldest Wineries in California. They have some very nice wines and free tasting. We left with a couple of bottles, because the prices are very reasonable. The staff including the owner were wonderful and friendly making us feel right at home.

I attended a wedding with the ceremony on the grounds and the dinner/reception in the clubhouse. The winery is located in an ideal location with a beautiful view of the valley and the mountains. The clubhouse is very spacious and comfortable, and the overall ambience of the winery is rustic Californian. I must say that I was a bit skeptical... More

Very nice winery. Great tasting rooms. Service was good. No charge for tasting 6 different wines. Price per bottle was reasonable. This is a huge winery with acres of grape vines, Beautiful flowers and cricket matches.

After visiting several wineries over several days our friends brought us here for tasting. I had sampled one of their wines at my friend's hone when we first arrived in California. We sampled (and purchased) several wines. Not being anything that closely resembles a wine connoisseur we left knowing more about the process of making these excellent wines...not to mention... Went here during passport weekend. Busy but service with great. Choice of 3 tasting rooms is fun. Wines we tasted were very good & price point attractive. Wine Club is reasonable and offers choices, which is nice. Beautiful setting for picnic.
