We are a small family owned winery located in the heart of the Sonoma...

We are a small family owned winery located in the heart of the Sonoma Valley. We believe that single vineyard wines make for the most interesting and satisifying drinking! Since the early 1990's we've constantly looked for those vineyards that provide a great match between terroir and varietal. The result is an array of small batch, single-vineyard wines that meet our criteria. Whether the vineyard is in Sonoma or Napa, or our own estate, our pledge to you is that we will produce a collection of wines that are always interesting, always compelling and always delicious. Making over 20 varitals of wine there is always something you can find that fits your taste here at Mayo!

This winery had a lovely friendly, family feel to it. The lady who took care of us was great and didn't hold back on the wine for tasting. She also explained the history and the making process. She took her time and we didn't feel rushed.

This is really more of a tasting room, but they are open later than most of the other winery's in the area. We really enjoyed sitting at a picnic table on their patio area with a few bottles of wine. Everything was great about it, except that there was one woman behind the bar who was pretty rude and unhelpful.... More

This is a stop we will certainly not return to again. The first time we stopped and received subpar service we chalked it up to being late in the afternoon and the host wanted to go home. The second time we stopped was late morning and we received the same terrible service. Both times the hosts just slopped the wine... More

I didn't know what to expect when we entered Mayo's Reserve Room. The venue was small and the decor wasn't fancy, but after meeting Executive Chef Samuel Frumkin, tasting the wine with his custom menu, and listening to him describe the food and wine pairings, we were enthralled and delighted. This was a wonderful experience and a great value for... More

My wife and I stopped into this fun winery on a rainy Friday evening and were treated to a great night. The wine hosts were pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were very good and we struggled to determine which ones to purchase. A great find off the main road.

On a recent trip through Napa and Sonoma wine country, we tried to avoid the big commercial wineries and focus on finding small wineries with exquisite offerings. Mayo is right up there at the top of the list. Very friendly staff, nice location and some great wines.

My husband and I just happened to stop here because they were open later than all the other wineries and we were at the end of our day LOL! It was a nice surprise :-) fun atmosphere, great wine and very attentive tasting room ladies. I recommend this as a stop in the Sonoma wine country!

A boutique winery in Sonoma, our tour guide was a retired schoolteacher but very funny. We laughed and learned a lot. The Zinfandel and the Pinot were excellent. If you're doing a wine tour in Sonoma don't miss this one.

We went to the winery at Glen Ellen, so I do not know if the Reserve Room has different wines or not. The wines were not to our taste and they served a few one the tasting from another winery, just because.... Staff was very friendly but not as knowledgeable as some of the other wineries we visited

I am embarrassed to say how we stumbled upon this family winery. There were no bathrooms in sight so we pulled in out of necessity. Next thing I know they were staying open late for us so we could do a tasting. Their wines are really good and they are so personable. So glad we just had to stop...don't miss... More
