A really pretty route to take to catch some of the really beautiful areas of this forest. It was busy on the road so had to take it slowly and stop at various vista stops to take it all in. Some places are high!
My son, my grandson and I learned about 'fire assaying'. It will make a great science fair project. The museum was interesting. It seems they have lost some funding to please make a contribution to keep California history alive!
