Nice facility. Did not take the free tour due to time constraints, but I'm sure that would be informative. The tasting area is spacious and the service friendly. There is also a nice little deli for lunch time snacks.

We arrived just in time for the hourly conducted tour, which was very informative and which allowed plenty of time for questions. The tour and two videos covers not just the history of the Korbels and their progress from immigrants to big businessmen, but also...More

Desmond was very knowledgeable and gave us the opportunity to choose any wine or champagne on their list to try! The tour was also free and showed the history of champagne distilling! We also toured the gardens and saw a large variety of beautiful blooming...More

When visiting the Guerneville area, you should spend an hour here. You will learn the history of this amazing winery, see scenic vineyards, have an informative tour and taste some excellent champagne absolutely free. Can't beat that!

The grounds of this vineyard are stunningly beautiful. This happens to be my favorite champagne, so a tasting here was must for us. The tasting room staff is personable and the environment is festive!

Staff is very attentive and informative. Good selection of items to try. I enjoyed trying these as it's a will known Champagne for every day mimosas or other options. I'm not a wine/Champagne conisour so this was great to learn the options.

As another reviewer wrote, this is a great stop to plan in conjunction with a hike in the Armstrong Woods redwood forest nearby. It's amazing how much we often don't know what we don't know, and the making and bottling of champagne is one of...More

We did the free tour. There's a short video of the history of the winery followed by a tour of some wine cellars, the first of which is essentially a museum of 19th century winemaking and industrial artifacts, including many innovations that were made at...More

Sonoma and Napa are full of wineries and a lot of them look alike, so Korbel is an interesting exception. They focus on California Champagne (yes, they can legally use that name if you have that question!) - that is different. The history of this...More

A nice tour of the facility is available, with free champagne tasting afterwards. I was told its the only place outside of France that can legally call its product champagne. A nice little visit doesn't take long.
