Making a yearly trip to Sonoma County, Truett Hurst is one our favorite wineries. Red Rooster Zin and Black Sheep Pinot Noir are our favorites. Travelers have mentioned it is hard to get tastings due to the crowds. In my opinion, it's not all of the winery's fault. When wineries are busy, tasters need to practice good etiquette and move... Sweet and rustic. Would be nice in warmer weather. The riverside location, gardens and spacious patio would make for a nice place to hang out with friends.

This was our favorite winery in this area. It was so peaceful to see the Dry Creek River which had salmon. Goats, sheep and chickens were also on property. There were outside tables to enjoy the surroundings and also sip on some amazing red wines. So many people were carrying out boxes of wine so we knew that this was... More

My sister and I visited this winery as it was on a list that we had from a local B&B where we could get a free tasting. We had so much fun and it is now on my list of wineries to visit again and likely join the club. They have a beautiful area at the river where you can... More

After MANY trips to Napa and Sonoma over the last 18 years we believe this to be the mist outstanding of all wines sampled. The beautiful location on the Dry Creek, the welcoming staff, and the amazing red wine create the absolute perfect day one could ask for. We joined the wine club 4 years ago and have never been... Nice atmosphere. We had reservations in the "red chairs" by the river. Picked up some sausage and wine and had a wonderful afternoon.

the Russian River. Wine, cheese and crackers with a great view right on the river/creek. The atmosphere was just what we needed-beautiful, calm and refreshing.

Come here with lunch, picnic by the creek, and indulge in Zins and other wines. Our experience was great. We tasted what seemed like all the wines and they were all quite wonderful. Anthony, our host, was friendly and helpful. This is a must visit along Dry Creek.

Truett-Hurst was a great place to grab a glass of wine and enjoy their lovely setting whether it be watching the goats, sitting by the gardens or head on down by the river and have a picnic. Life doesn't get much better than this!

Wines were not very complex and tasted young. The facility was pound even though it was not crowded. The grounds are beautiful. It's a good place to stop and take a break by the creek.
