Big lake on a houseboat on this trip. Caught my biggest Catfish ever 17lbs on a chunk of hotdog. Clean water and some steep shores. And all expensive to enjoy. A Sonoma favorite Vacation spot.

Stopped in to pick up the National Parks Pass. Drove around the lake and enjoyed the views from the overlook spots. Great place to picnic. Camping & Marina for boating as well as hiking trails. A gem of a place to enjoy in Sonoma.

The Overlook has a beautiful view. This was an unplanned stop on our day of touring wineries and vineyard, and I'm so glad we stopped!

Lake Sonoma is about 15 minutes west of Healdsburg. Travel west on Dry Creek road, keep going until you get to the lake, can't miss it. Have fun!

We did not have a dog. However we did see a small sailing boat with two dogs on it.
