If you're in the Healdsburg to Cloverdale area, take the time to drive up to the Lake Sonoma Overlook. It's just a short ride up Dry Creek Road from Sbragia or Ferrari Carano wineries. Just follow the road signs. The pictures hardly do this site...More

Great place to hike with views of the surrounding area and lake. Occasional picnic tables allow for a relaxed lunch.

Collect wines in the morning and picnic in the afternoon. Plenty of wineries nearby. But the lake is fine place to hike and hang out.

Lake Sonoma is about 15 minutes west of Healdsburg. Travel west on Dry Creek road, keep going until you get to the lake, can't miss it. Have fun!
