We became members of the winery several years ago and have enjoyed the ambiance and special events very much. However, when we walked in today, I was shocked to see an unattractive rectangular bar installed in the middle of what had been a lovely room with a small bar and comfortable chairs. Fortunately, the day was beautiful and we could... More

We were lucky enough to secure a reservation on a day that the tasting room was closed to the public. Simone hosted our family as we celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday. We were greeted with a lovely sparkling wine followed by a nice chardonnay and several reds. We enjoyed a meat/cheese board and then had a nice tour of the... More

After a slow, winding drive through the vineyards, we arrived at Michel Schlumberger. It is a beautiful estate, with a gorgeous outdoor terrace. Taste at the bar or take a longer afternoon, and take a small table outside. Food is available, wines are delicious and the staff is friendly and knowledgable! Thanks to Leon, Simone and Lisa for a delightful... More

A glorious late fall day in Sonoma County and we found ourselves sitting out on the terrace at MS for a wine and food pairing. Chef Johnny Gall gave a thorough overview of each dish ahd the wine it was served with and how they complimented each other. All five dishes and wines were delicious, from start to finish it... 4 of us went for the food and wine pairing. The food was amazing fried sunchokes, duck confit, poached pears. It was all delicious and paired well with their delicious wines. But the service was disappointing. They poured the wine and then we waited for the food, which came room temp, so we had drunk the 2 oz pour by... More

We visited the winery on a Thursday and had the good fortune of having our own personal host for an 11am tasting. It was another beautiful day, warm weather, and excellent wines to taste. We could have spent the entire afternoon there! The grounds are gorgeous, too! Great photo opps!

I was disappointed with a tour that I purchased at this winery. I had made a reservation for a 2:00 tour, and rushed to make it on time. It seemed that the tasting room was very disorganized, and we were cooly received - even though I had paid f$120 for 4 tours & tastings. They said that they were short... More

Friends are club members who reserved a pairing on the Fourth. We were warmly greeted and seated in the comfortable outdoor patio overlooking a beautiful green space. Hostess was delightful and the chef lovingly explained each course and the reason he chose the particular pairing. All five courses were spot on in their synergy. Favorites were a white gazpacho with... More

This winery came highly recommended by multiple people. I had to say I was not that impressed. We were a little early for our tasting and they did get us sat in a few minutes. The tasting room is nice and comfortable and the location is beautiful. The wines were good but nothing that wowed me. The experience was just... More

Of four Sonoma-area wine tastings we enjoyed during a two-day span, this was the best -- an abundance of great wines and a beautiful piece of Dry Creek Valley terrain. Off the beaten path, it's easy to miss unless aware of it by word of mouth or a map. We took the vineyard tour with a young woman named Jenna... More
