We walked out on the pier early in the morning. There were lots of fisherman tossing their lines into the water, and people surfing on both sides of the pier! It was a lovely walk, filled with things to see.

The pier goes quite a way out and offers a great view. There is even a little restaurant at the end where you can eat or have a beer. Lots of fishermen hanging out along with the many tourists.

After a day at the beach, taking a walk down the pier was a perfect way to celebrate an awesome day! It just so happened we were walking on the pier the night of the Super Moon! Seeing the moonlight reflect off the water was utterly breathtaking. There were many people enjoying the view. Families, couples, friends out strolling. One... More

Great views from the pier and you can even get drinks and some food at end of the pier. A not inconsiderable thing since the pier is so long, they have very nice and clean public toilets. And you can fish too, just limited areas for casting.

Imperial Beach has really grown up over the last few years. It was the place to go when I ditched school way back when to watch the surfers. Now there are an ice cream & gift shops at the start of the pier and fish restaurant at the end of the pier. The surfers are still there and there's fishing... More

It's an ordinary pier with an extraordinary setting. The beach is great, the area in Imperial Beach is quaint, and the pier offers relaxation and fishing. Walk out at sunset for a treat.

My brother lives in Chula Vista and I really wanted to see the beach before I flew out to Denver so we came here and I love it! The pier is beautiful many people fishing which was fun to see. This is definitely a cute quite clean community to hang out in.

We walked to the end of the pier twice to have shakes and fries. The view out there was nice and the food was good.

Whether you're in town for a day or week, the Pier is a must! It's great for a stroll, a brisk walk, the views, to take in the sea air or to fish. We walked it during a sunrise and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has the most gorgeous views of the ocean, coast, and beach, so it's not to be... More
