We were looking for some golf and found this little gem. It's a 27-hole course that's challenging (not too challenging) and fun to play. The grounds are in good shape but the greens are a little worn. I'd play here again.

My golf buddies and I live in the area and we play many, many local courses frequently. Steele Canyon is ALWAYS in great shape - plenty of grass on the fairways and superb, fast greens. The views are spectacular and the layout is challenging - first rate golf course.

Played Steele Canyon on Saturday October 1, 2016 and had a fantastic time. Was able to play solo, so I had the chance to work on a few things without bogging a group down. Course in fantastic shape, some of the water features are drained - hopefully they come back in the near future, the drought has taken its toll... More

This is an interesting course and worth the Golf Now price, however don't expect to much. I enjoyed playing here, and I might go back if my 1st or 2nd choice is booked. It is in very good shape, and a cool lay out. I am a 5 handicap and play nice courses all over the US so maybe I... More

This is a 27 hole course that has many hazards. However, the mens tee box has to hit over a lot of hazards while the womens tee is placed in front of the hazards. If you are a couple looking for a picturesque well maintained golf course with great greens you cannot go wrong with this course. You might loose... More

27 holes , lots of elevation changes , staff was up front with us as one 9 had just been cross cut .. greens were in decent shape for a public course .. lots of previous golfer not fixing their own ball marks .. those guys should be removed and not allowed to come back .. just plain lazy ...... I'm not that familiar with Gary Player's courses but this often felt more like crazy golf than a normal golf course. He seems to expect you to hit perfect shots, and sometimes very good shots get punished a lot more than seems fair. Course was also not in great condition but weather has been tough. Pretty course. Just disappointing.

It's worth playing just for the amazing Ranch #3 hole. You'll want to take a mulligan just so you can experience another tee shot!!

slow slow play, too much drinking, screaming, cell phones, stunt cart drivers, groups of five and more, a slow moving party on the course and not one person from the course to break it up, hard to believe they allow this come-on SC this is a golf course not a Frat house party Fri. am 28 Aug. 2015
