We stopped in there first to see what they were offering, but unless you are reserving a campsite, or buying a pricey souvenir...there wasn't much to do

Rangers here were very helpful with showing us where to go and what to do in the Park. You get a map and hiking trails in the brochure they give you. Free exhibits about the terrain and area. Small gift shop. Bathroom facilites.

The people at the information center were very friendly and helpful and answered all questions about the park. We bought the annual pass since we travel a lot which was $80 for one year from month of purchase. It’s $25 to get into park, anyway.

An amazing experience, easily accessible, great hiking or just sightseeing. Pack a picnic and try a nice little hike around hidden valley. Don’t miss walking around skull rock and other formations. Check out 29 palms inn, funky, good food, great people.
