We took a detour off the Main Street and were pleasantly surprised! We were pleased to find the tasting room dog friendly, and then we found out just how dog friendly! The resident dog, Oliver, was ready, willing, and able to entertain our dog. They had a wonderful time together while we enjoyed our wine. Thank you for making us... More

Didn't expect to find a good local wines in Julian. But all four reds in the tasting were very good. We bought a Sangiovese that was better than what we had been drinking in Tuscany. Great outside Adirondack chairs that were perfect for sipping their sangria and soaking up sun. Very friendly and knowledgable hostess. The talented vintner (from Australia?)... More

This is a local winery. They offer a flight of wine tasting. My first taste was ice cold sangria. It was sweet and refreshing. Once I tasted the sangria I cancelled the flight of wine and sipped the sangria on my heir patio. The staff was friendly. Other patrons told me all their wines were good. Maybe next time I'll... Dropped by for a glass of their matchless Merlot, had a nice discussion and bought a bottle to take home. Their Merlot is the best I've ever had, and they remembered us from our previous visit, even though it was months ago!

Simple tasting room with a very friendly and acknowledgeable hostess. The wine was very good. $10 for 6 tastings or $14 to keep the glass. Which I did. Will enjoy using it in MN. The Syrah 2012 was my favorite but all were worth taking the time to sample and to learn more about. The Sangria was refreshing as well.... More

We were a little disappointed upon walking in to find out that a wine tasting was $10 for 6 tastes...and that there were only 4 wines to taste so you got to double try some wines. The lady behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable and got us super excited about each wine we were about to try. The wines were... More

We got there at 4:15 on Father's Day. They close at 5pm. She was closing up because it was slow. she talked us into a cup of sangria. It was delicious. WE found out from someone else in the town they don't even use their own wine for the sangria. It was still good but a little disappopinting knowing that.

Friendly staff, delicious wines in an open, un-rushed atmosphere. Eight dollars gets you a flight of five wines to sample.I highly recommend the sangria.
