This place is small but with lots of very interesting and conservative 18's - 19's history. I highly recommend it.

From gold mining to a grand piano, this compact but well filled museum is a must see if you're in Julian. The suggested minimum donation for entry is $3.00, and it's worth every bit of it. The women who work there are very nice, as...More

A delightful museum with classic Americana. Vintage wagons, washing machines, ice boc, clothing, toys, dolls, telephones, and so much more. The best part was the charming associate who guides us through our tour.

We had one person using a walker and she and was able to experience this site. There were a few steps to get into the building. If we needed to, we could have used the wheelchair inside. The woman docent was very friendly and knowledgeable....More

It's nothing to write home about, but if you're in Julian, you should definitely stop by. It's full of memorabilia and apparently they have decided to keep everything old and dusty to reflect it's age. It's a cheap activity and centrally located. Boring for kids,...More

There is lots to look at here but not well displayed. Old dusty place but does seem to fit the things in it. Only $3.00 so it's still worth a visit.
