Nice little garden with an old tea house, which is definitely worth a visit. It costs 1000 Yen, which is quite high and twice as much as castle ticket, but you can also buy a combined ticket for 1300 Yen, if you go to the...More

A 10 min walk from Inuyama Castle, this quaint Japanese garden with tea house is nice, quiet and peaceful. Although went in winter, the garden is very well kept and green. It isn't big, if you stroll slowly, you can probably finish walking in it...More

This lovely place was one of the highlights of our trip. We learned so much from our own private guide and the tea ceremony was wonderful.

Immediately adjoining Inumaya Castle, Uraku En is a 1600's ceremonial tea house set in a Japanese landscape garden. Did I mention the azaleas were 6 feet tall? And blooming? Serene is an insuffcient word to decribe the setting.
