Kings Beach is a great place to take pictures from. My visit was in the winter which is different than in the summer. Obviously you couldn't take in the sun and camp the same way you would in the Summer, but so worth going to see and enjoy the views of the lake.

This beach is very small and may not be the best beach at Lake Tahoe. But...for our family it was great! Our kids were free to play in the sand and water for hours because the water was so shallow & the waves were so gentle & warm. It is a super rocky bottom, which took them a while to... More

Took bike ride for hours. Nice slow ride and able to take in all the views. Very pretty and breath taking. Would do it again and again.

Easy access off the main drag. Great area for walks and relaxing with a book. The lake view is spectacular. So sad to see the lake level drop so much. More shoreline exposed with rocks. Still plenty of sandy areas to play and lay out. Restrooms could be better taken care of. Plenty of parking but there is a fee.... More

This beach is pretty good size especially with the lake being so low at this time of year. Nice bathroom facilities. Not sure how much it would be to park here since we walked. Only a few people around this time of year and since there was street parking available you might wanna try that instead of paying.

This spot is a one stop shop.... Located right off of the main drag... Great little Mexican restaurant down the block.. They have picnic tables to eat at... Plenty of beach area... Places to swim or watch the people... There are restrooms. Parking. They even have a playground for the kids.

I was pleasantly surprised by the area, brought my son up to UNR and we took a morning trip here, school was back in session so there were no crowds. Scenery is beautiful, water was clear and warm, by this time night time lows were dropping into 60's, daytime was 90's. They do charge a parking fee in the lot... More

We went here over Labor Day weekend and it was crazy busy with no place to park so we bought parking from a neighbor leasing out spots in his yard. The beach was busy and crowded despite it being pretty cold. They had a spot to rent watersport activities on the beach. It is also a shirt walk from local... More
