This museum located in the Trees of Mystery gift shop should not be missed. We enjoyed touring through this woman's huge collection of indian artifacts. Remember to purchase something from here as it helps fund the museum so tourists can continue to enjoy.

Really impressive private collection of American Indian artefacts, some quite rare. The only thing we didn't like were that the 'souvenirs' available were made in China or India!

Reputed by the Smithsonian Institute as the best Native American museum west of the Mississippi River. It was put together over decades by the matriarch of the Thompson family.

I have fallen victim to many tourist traps but this museum has a lot of over priced stuff that I was not interested in for the price.

OK, the Trees of Mystery looks like one of those roadside attractions that you cringe at having to stop ... complete with a talking Paul Bunyon giant character in the parking lot. Get Past It. The Museum, inside, has one of the most comprehensive collections...More

This little museum of Native American artifacts attached to the gift shop of Trees of Mystery was a huge surprise! The collection is small but significant, and is appreciated by the local Indian population as well, which tells me that the exhibits are highly respectful...More

This well-done museum focuses on artifacts from the Pacific Northwest, but includes items from all of North America.
