Again, parking is a challenge as it is at any beach in San Diego. This beach is known for surfing and there are often weddings under the little palm hut. Great sunset viewing, good beach for children. There are no services of any kind within...More

We rented a condo right on this beach, and it was awesome! The views were amazing and it was a great location in La Jolla. The beach was clean and not crowded over the winter holidays. Great spot for surfers and to people watch surfing....More

This beach is gorgeous. Everything from the sand to how the water breaks over the rocks to how the surfers glide through the waves. I like it better than most any other beach. Must see!

Our kids have loved tidepooling here for over 10 years! They’re 18 now and we still take out-of-town friends and family because you can go even at high tide. The sandstone rock provides good walking surfaces with many indentations in which sealife thrive. The wide-open...More

a special beach experience---water a little chilly in the summer but you get used to it & the waves are perfect for body surfing & swimming--better know how to surf well before you test the waters--beautiful coast line

This beach is easy to get to and not over crowded. Great place to spend your day! Pack a picnic and spend the day relaxing and taking in the Pacific Ocean. You'll be happy you did.

We visited this spot early. It was so beautiful. The rocks and waves were relaxing. The surfers were starting to gather and it was great to watch. It is worth a stop and some great photos.

I am not sure. I don’t think so. If so, it is for restricted hours only and probably at the end of the day as it is for LJ Shores. You can stop by the beach and check the signage.

It'll be fantastic. We were there over New Year's, & while we didn't have an interest in braving really cold water, there were plenty of surfers and swimmers wearing wetsuits in the surf. June is perfect for most.
