The guides took way too long discussing the price of houses on the shoreline and telling incorrect facts about Sunny Jim's cave and how it came about. When we finally made it over to the caves they made us stay about 1/4 mile away from them waiting our turn to go in due to their overcautious nature. Unfortunately the swells... More

I have kayaked before, but this was a blast. I love kayaking from the beach and have not done this in about 15 years. The guys at OEX got everyone organized, fitted with helmets and life jackets. I had my own half wet suit, so did not need to get a suit. The water was about 70 degrees, so perfect... More

I am a local and my friend and I LOVED this tour. Was born here, yet never saw LJ from this view. Bought the two tickets from Groupon (great deal) but also learned locals get a good deal. Missy and Sloan were full of facts and info about LJ, the caves, and the history of the homes. Super cool crew... More

My friend and I came to San Diego for a vacation from snowy PA and purchased groupons for the sea cave kayak tour. From start to finish the process was pretty simple. Our guides, Jenna and Blaine, were fun and energetic as well as knowledgable about the area. At one point they even had a handstand standoff on the kayaks... More

I found them on Groupon for a great price and was looking for fun activities for my boyfriend and I to do on a vacation to San Diego. This place was fantastic! Our two guides (Alfredo and Alejandro) were hilarious, helpful and very knowledgeable of the area and kayaking. It was only 90 minutes and it went super fast. Great... More

I bought vouchers for a kayak tour from groupon. From beginning to end I had a positive experience... the check in process was quick and efficient and they were very accommodating to my large family. The tour itself was fun and interesting and we had great tour guides. Makes a great family trip and I would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I took the La Jolla Sea Cave Kayak tour and it was awesome! There were a lot of people out kayaking but only because it was such a beautiful day in La Jolla. The staff was great and energetic. Our guides were Alejandro and Blake, who were more than great. Saw many Garibaldi fish and sea lions... More

I somewhat enjoyed my kayak tour...but my background in PR and customer service management means I can't give them 5 stars. The confirmation email instructs you on what time to arrive by and to take Dramamine (which I should have done). That email was missing kayaking attire suggestions (for newbies like myself), how personal belongings will be stored while kayaking... More

My husband and I took at La Jolla Sea Cave Kayak took using vouchers we purchased from Amazon Local. We had no trouble booking the tour. When we arrived, there was a lot of hustle and bustle with people coming and going for tours and other rentals, but the staff handle it well. The beach and ocean around the caves... More

Austin was a great tour guide, he shared a lot of interesting info. about the area. His jokes were funny too. My wife and I did the tour with another couple wich made it that much more fun. Due to the rough water conditions, we couldn't go in the cave, which is understandable (good looking out austin). We still managed... More
