OK - it's a peekaboo view, but away from the razzle dazzle, with overtones of gourmet, hippism, neat hideaway. Small space - maybe 10 on the patio, as well as inside seating for maybe 12 more. Great charcuterie plate, modest quality Sauvignon Blanc wine, but hey, at $7 off a bottle on Sunday's, it was fine. And lovely people there... More

If you're looking for a great place to drink wine and unwind after shopping and sightseeing on la jolla beach this is the place. They have an awesome area in the back patio with a couple of small tables and a great view.

We spent a few hours in this store with their sommelier Colin. He made our day with his knowledge. We packed a case of wine for our home fridge.

Enjoy some oils, wines and views. This isn't your typical wine or oil shop. The staff are very well trained and you will learn as much as you want about quality oils. Doing this while enjoying some wine and views makes this one of the top stops during the shopping portion of your time here.

We were meeting 2 other couples at We Olive, and the seating outside on the deck is TINY, but oh so worth being crowded. It was a beautiful day, the food was excellent and Our server was very kind!

On the way to having dinner at another restaurant, we stopped for Happy Hour at We Olive to sample some wine and ended up ordering one of their flatbreads, the delicious spinach flatbread with roasted tomato and black olive tapenade. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, and helpful with wine selection. The place has olive oil and balsamic... More

We visited We Olive as part of a food tour (Bite San Diego - La Jolla). Even though we frequent La Jolla regularly, I’d never stopped in here. Selfishly, I almost don’t want to tell you how incredibly awesome this place is. I’d like to keep it from getting too busy! The olive oil is great but the best part... More

You can treat this place like a museum or go and eat. I'll talk about the "museum" aspect. There are tons of different vinegars and oils at We Olive. You can pretty much taste all of them. But don't simply focus on trying oils. They have jams, jellies, sauces etc to sample. There are many combinations from fruits to habanero... More

We visited the one in Paso Robles, CA The two ladies there were excellent. The Olive oils, balsalmics, and olives were excellent. Top notch everything. Best yet you can taste everything before purchasing!

There was 3 of us. We were hungry and in need for something to drink. We had to wait to get into Eddie V's so we decided to walk around and find a place to get a drink and bite to eat. We stumbled upon this place and enjoyed some really good hummus, and wine. We loved the open patio... More
