The best 2.8 mile hike on a trail. Trail has a few strenuous hills, but otherwise it is flat with ample water fountains and bathrooms and benches. There is a "rim trail" of about 6 miles on dirt path above the main path. Any of...More

I joined a friend to "walk the rez" last night and it was lovely. I'm glad they put in more parking but I can't stand the meters. They are hard to use and a buck more than before. It's a quick 2.7 miles and 50-minute...More

Lovely 2.7 mile walk around reservoir. Plenty of shade toilets and drinking water. Information boards abound with interesting information about the area.

Beautiful location. Lots of great trails for hiking other than just the 'around the lake' . Lots of good picnic areas and fishing too. Easy to find and parking is usually available.

I find it safe there, there are other people enjoying the park. Although, I was there on a weekend and day time. Stay on the safe side by going before dark.
