Really enjoyed the views from the top base. Great park for kids at the top. Could see the canyons and the ocean on my trek. I was able to enjoy a day hike, but these trails would be amazing on a bike. Had tennis courts and a baseball field as well.

We got to Alta Laguna Park/Top of the World at 10:50 and left at 12:05. The park is located in a neighborhood at the top of a hill. There's a playground, tennis courts, and very clean bathrooms at the park. There are a lot of trails you can hike down with very pretty views. We really enjoyed hiking here.

This is a must see if you visit Laguna Beach. There is a playground for kids and challenging and beautiful hiking trails. Seeing snow on the mountains when it's 65 degrees at the park is spectacular!

There's no listing for Top of the World, which is the starting point for many hiking trails right next to Alta Laguna Park. There is ample street parking and great trails from easy to moderate. Great views of the ocean on one side and hills on the other. Lots of friendly people along the trails.

Picture on TA is acualliy from the Top Of The World Park which would have little interest to the visitor. To get to Alta Laguna Park drive up Park St to Alta Laguna, turn left and go to the end. Great vistas of Laguna Beach and a number of hiking trails.

I was in Search of Top of the World and this park is right by the main hill. It's a beautiful park with great views of the valley. Has a jungle gym, tennis courts, shelters, and a really cool whale tail art space. I recommend hanging out here for a bit, walk around barefooted in the grass and enjoy.

The trails leading from Alta Laguna Park offer amazing views for hikers and bikers. Trails extend into Laguna Canyon and also connect with Aliso and Wood Canyons. Trails range from dirt fire roads to very difficult single track. Alta Laguna is the highest elevation of the trail system and the ride back can wear you out. Views are worth it... More

Unbelievable views of the Pacific, canyons, and mountains! Would have rated 5 stars if the trails were marked with the trail names, distance, direction, and difficulty level. Also was difficult to find the posted map. One of the informational signs for the mountain range view was totally illegible and needs to be replaced. Would be nice if paper maps were... More

They don't call it Top of the World" park for nothing! We set out on what we thought would be a 5 mile hike. It ended up being 8 miles because we missed a turn somewhere! We actually took a picture of the trail map and I think we got so caught up we weren't paying attention to where we... More
