Main beach is crowded at high beach times but everyone is very nice about sharing space. Nearby toy store rents all the equipment you need including beach umbrella, towels, coolers, etc. Walk to all the great restaurants on the ground floor and rooftops. Beautiful beach,...More

Just a stop in on a coastal drive, but it is a magnificent beach. Wish we had time to go swimming! But it was still very cold.

Main Beach was great! Played basketball on the beach, waves great and downtown area with shops and places to eat.

Laguna Beach is a nice small town with lots of character. The Main beach is very pleasant and not overcrowded. There are lots of people on the beach and it is enjoyable to sit back and 'people watch'. The view of sunset was very beautiful.

I really liked staying here, and the beach was a good size for enjoying the sand and waves. We later went to Venice Beach, which I found totally overwhelming. All in all, my favorite beach in California!

Delightful beach with picturesque Life Guard tower. Large green area and wonderful views. Right in the middle of town.

September is often the warmest month of the year. It will be amazing. Make sure your resort has air conditioning as a few of the older ones do not. If you are ocean front you wont need it with the breeze.
