We recently hiked several of the trails around near Ortega Falls and really enjoyed ourselves. It would have been over the top spectacular if we weren't in a drought! Everything was so dry and brittle and almost no water anywhere. Still a very nice hike...More

It's amazing how a small drive could take you to a different world. Ortega highway is beautiful except it could be a little slow if following a slow driver. To reach the falls you descend down less than half a mile, or you could start...More

Short & Sweet hike! Not hard, but not easy due to uneven ground and rocks...just take it slow with kids, but they can do it! The waterfalls are worth it. There are a few levels of pools, so be sure to keep going up until...More

This place is wild and deep hill. We are walking careful. It's not way available, you must walk along stone. Water is clear and fresh. 13 mile from walkers canyon. One of place to explore after you comes lake elsimore

It is awesome to finally find this place! I could hear the sound of the waterfalls as I got out of my car. For a moment, I was frustrated because I can hear it but I can't seem to find it. My first thought was...More

Always drive safely and respect other drivers. This road provides many opportunities to safely and within the posted speed limit; utilize a properly designed suspension on a finely tuned machine

The views to get here are great and the trails are nice. This is a good place to look at the valley below. The road is winding to get here and a bit of a thrill just to drive. The falls are anticlimactic if they're...More

OK, I've got to admit, I didn't quite get to the falls, because either the trail was overgrown, it certainly wasn't marked, and there was a lot of garbage nearby. I'm a rather adventurous person and I don't shy away from a challenging trail, but...More

Spent About An hour hiking on the boulders. Afterwards watched the motorcycles cruise up and down the road.
