Tucked within the Livermore hills and valleys this beautiful park offers so much: boating, fishing, hiking, camping. Well kept, clean, family and elder friendly. Saw many deer, wild turkeys, and eagles. Quiet and relaxing

Nice place to picnic and or camp. Make reservations for camping. Beach is large with supervision, nice and shallow for the little ones, roped off from boaters, fishing is good too.

This park was beautiful and the restrooms were SPOTLESS CLEAN! If I were not a gimp, I'd give this park 4 stars (1 less due to construction in park right now), but alas, I AM a gimp. Upon checking in specifically asked for a wheelchair...More

We have taken our dog on several hiking trips here and she actually gets to be off leash here, one of the very few places left unfortunately. The park is beautiful and features loads of trails, boat rental and camping.

Swimming, kayaking, take the dog -- there are beautiful trails and great swimming. We have also camped there (even though it is kind of in our back yard!) -- I highly recommend for a fun family outing. There are also great picnic areas with grills...More

One of my favorite hikes. Once you get to the top of the hill, there are beautiful views of Del Valle Lake. Dogs are fine off leash and trails are easy to follow. Gets hot in summer, go early.

We swam in mid July a few hundred metres around from the dam wall. No issues. Another couple swam about 100 m away. There were family groups on the other side of the lake with boats. They swam too.
