We visited Klinker Brick one year ago during the Wine and Chocolate Weekend. The winery was over strict regarding their tastings. It felt rather unfriendly and off putting. The wines we tasted were fine. The treats I tasted there were fine. The venue was pleasant. The rigid tasting rules were not very pleasant. They need to rethink their festival weekend... More

We enjoyed learning about the Klinker Bricks here and learn about the history of the winery. Nice selection of wines to taste.

Though I live in Washington now, I am from Lodi. Be joined this wine club and also belong to 3 other Lodi ones. There are TONS to pick from as well as in my area too. So for this to be one of the 4 we belong to I guess says it all. I told my husband I want to... More

Klinker Brick Winery is located just east of downtown Lodi, California, in the Lodi AVA (American Viticultural Area) wine grape growing region. This area, southeast of Sacramento and north of Stockton, includes about 551,000 total acres of which just over 100,000 acres are farmed for wine grapes in the AVA’s seven sub-regions (see map below). Zinfandel is the predominant varietal... More

We had the opportunity to visit Klinker Brick when we went on the Sip Shuttle Wine Tour while in Lodi this summer. Klinker Brick has a beautiful tasting room and the staff is very friendly. The ambiance is very fun and engaging. It is a very social place. The wine was all very good. The Zin's are the best! We... More

One of the better wineries in Lodi area. Big and open tasting room. Several ladies were pouring behind the bar. Started with the Albarino, which was quiet good. Tried various Zins- Old Vine, Old Ghost, Marisa's Vineyard. While all zins were good with each offering distinct notes, all were quite hot (high alc. 15.8-15.9). Could certainly taste that and was... Wonderful place to visit, the wine is good and the tasting room was crowded when we were there, they have many picnic tables outside to have a nice bottle and great food!!!

Went to Klinker Brick on the basis of comments about their wine. While it is not fair to say that there aren't more excellent wineries in Lodi since we only visited Klinker Brick, I can say that we like their wines better than those of several wineries we had visited in Sonoma a few weeks earlier. They specialize in Zinfandels... More

Very good wine tastings. Took a friend as a pre wedding celebration. We told the server we were with a friend who was a wine club member and 3 of us had not been before. There were a few ladies behind the bar at this time and the gal they left us with was extremely new, inexperienced in her knowledge... More
