Far too many in the park . Creates a rude everyone for themselves mentality . Too many shops . On a Tuesday . Even the popcorn stand has a line of 10+ people .

Went here to see the latest attraction - Super Nintendo World and what a sensory overload. It was awesome! We ended up buying Mario and Luigi hoodies even if we didn’t them. Oh well. We were kids again!

Positives - the rides were amazing so well put together, Water World show was fantastic and the studio set tour was also very good
Not so good - we got there at opening time and managed to get on a few rides straight away but after that the queuing started, we weren't prepared to wait over 3 hrs for Mario world so we didn't bother, we would of liked to go on Simpsons ride but again due to queues we ran out of time, the food was very expensive but to be expected.
My advice is download the app and it gives live updates of queuing times which helped a lot.

Went on a Thursday, and the only ride that had a long wait was the Simpson's. The Harry Potter experience has a size restriction. There's a test seat, and if you are too tall or wide, you can't secure the safety latch and you can not ride

I believe I need to speak for consumers, there were four major rides that a taller person or person with thicker thighs cannot fit into the safety restraints. These rides all apart of express ticket. The Harry Potter, the hippogriff ride,the Mummy and some may not fit New Mario kart ride. This makes purchasing a express pass irrelevant for those truly looking forward to these rides.

Firstly our host Danny B was amazing, his enthusiasm and knowledge were on another level. We got to go on all the big rides and then the bus tour was great. Danny listened to what films and tv everyone In the group liked and made sure we spent time in those area's. It was 7 hours of non stop action. I would highly recommend the VIP experience.
I would say though I was extremely disappointed with the food as a vegetarian and I have given four stars just on the basis of this otherwise I would have given 5. I asked the chef whether they had vegetarian just got a yes, then said which are vegetarian and was told some of them. It was actually really rude and I didn’t feel welcome at all, so I left lunch hungry. I ended up buyin food later in the day which was annoying as I had paid for it with the ticket. It really upset me how rude they were in the restaurant.

Mario World is poorly designed and can’t handle any crowd. We stood in several lines for hours just to perform silly activities after paying $40 for each wristband. Bowser’s Castle- the signature activity, was 30 seconds of shadow boxing. After all the hype- a major disappointment.

I came on a Monday. Arrived just after 9 am and got on the 2 Harry Potter rides with a few minutes wait. The forbidden journey ride was magical. There were lots of places to eat with plenty of options. I had the ramen at Hollywood Diner for lunch. It was nice and warm on a cold day. Finally made it to the three Broomsticks for a hot butterbeer which was good. I was very impressed with Harry Potter's land. Super Nintendo World's was super busy. It's a beautiful land but long lines for rides and restaurant was full. Jurassic ride and Waterworld were as fun as I remember. The Simpsons ride was over an hour wait so I didn't get to go. I found the app convenient to look up wait time. I spent about 9 hours there and enjoyed my 2nd visit.

After traveling across the country for Super Mario, the ride was down for maintenance or shut down for other reasons on and off throughout the day. Though some people were able to ride it, we never made it through the queue before it closed. The secret life of pets ride stopped three times during the ride. Kung Fu Panda was had to be closed for technical difficulties. This place was a total flop with no way to get your money or time back. The worst part was my crying and disappointed kid.

Hello - We are trying to plan a visit to universal studios the week of July 2-8,
how busy does the park get during this time? Would it be smarter to go to the park after July 4th? We would purchase the fast track to help with the lines.

I see tickets on trip website for general admission and you get a second day free. People confirm online that this is true. The other option is to buy the express pass direct from universal or lajollamom ($90 cheaper than universal site). I plan to go August 28, a Monday (and then the 29th if I choose the general admission option). It is about half price for the general admission option for the 2 days as compared to a 1 day express pass. How much waiting in line will there be at that time of year? Is the express pass worth it? Thanks.

Oh, the express pass is very much worth it. For the most popular rides, you can wait 45 + minutes or more with the general admission. With the “UNLIMITED” fast pass, you are on the same ride in 5-20 minutes. So you ride 2-3x the rides per day. (I point out Unlimited because there are two types of fast passes. Unlimited allows you to go on any ride with a fast pass lane as often as you wish. The regular pass only allows you to ride each with the lane one time per day.) Hardly worth the difference in price. It may also be the fast passes you’ve found so cheaply are the once-per-day one.
One great option, if you can, is to stay at one of the premium resorts and the hotel rates include the unlimited fast pass for each day of your stay for everyone staying in the room. Taking the price of the passes we would buy anyway makes the room rates seem reasonable.
There is a calendar on the universal Orlando site where you can see how busy those days will be. August should be very busy. Mondays aren’t bad Tuesday and Wednesday are best. So if you only get one day of the fast pass you probably want that on Monday.
Also, note the one day per park vs two parks per day, if you haven’t already. If you only go one day definitely get the two parks per day if you can. It allows you to go in the Harry Potter train and, more importantly, the Universal Studios side is much better if you like the rides. Islands of Adventure have fewer for us.
I don’t know about buy one day and get second free but we bought three days with two free so I assume it is there.
Have fun!

About eight to ten minutes depending how fast you walk (there are four huge escalators that you have to take…..those take up four minutes or so of the walking time).

If I buy a ticket in advance for a certain date , can I use it for another date?

I am not sure about this.
We had booked a ticket for the specific date and we went the same day.
You need to check their website. Most likely they won't allow, as when we were leaving they stamped on our hand and said now you cannot re-enter today unless you buy the ticket. So they are strict.

Hi!Anybody knows the wating times of the lines on weekdays in september? We are going in september(thursday 14th) And I am really considering the express pass. But we are with a family of 9 so...that will cost us. But if the lines are still half an hour I do think it is worth it. Anybody who can help me with this question?
We would appreciate recommendations/feedback on hotels, tickets & our tentative itinerary (5 days at Univ Studios Calif & Disneyland ) …
* 2 Adults, 2 kids (almost 13 & 10 yo)
* 2 days at US + 3 days at Disney
* First-time visitors
* Traveling in mid-June ‘23
To avoid driving in traffic … is it better to fly into the Burbank airport, stay a couple of nights near US, then drive to Anaheim to see Disney & depart from Long Beach airport? Or stay at a hotel in between US & Disney?
Is it worth buying express tickets with this 5 day itinerary?
Is it better to stay near the theme parks & walk to & from the hotel VS driving & parking each day? If so what are some good mid-range hotel options?
Feel free to add any suggestions/tips that would make our visit more convenient & less stressful!
Thank-you in advance! 💖
