It's good to see the stars but unfortunately the area is very grimy, has too many loud, smelly cars and is crowded with people. Many are trying to sell something and many parts of the street felt unsafe.

I've been here three times since 1992 and visited again, for a fourth time, today as part of a city tour. It was absolutely rammed with people, street artists plying for photos for money, young men handing out "free CD's" and just general tackiness. It's...More

By walking around on Hollywood Boulevard, and glancing down on the sidewalks, you will notice stars on the sidewalk with a name under each of the stars. Some were actors on TV, others were film stars. Still others were singers and band leaders.

Very funny and It just demonstrated and confirmed that Hollywood is nothing but a bag of hot air. A lot of tourists trying to catch this glimpse of illusion by photographing all those dressed up superheroes. Very entertaining in a sort of way but also...More

Drop by here with a Rent-A-Car we borrowed. Taking advice from a recent trip advisor comment we went to Hollywood and Boulevard for cheap parking. That works out well, we went to a lunch and got out tickets validated. On street level watch out for...More

While it was fun to find famous celebrities names and take pics of their stars, it is sad to see how dirty the sidewalks are because of lack of proper care. There are homeless people on every corner begging for food, sleeping on the sidewalks,...More

We really didn't know what to expect, from just seeing it on TV when someone would get their "star" on the Walk of Fame. There were many, many more stars than we expected and because of a time constraint, we didn't get to see them...More

You can take Metrolink - red line & get off at the Highland station. If you drive there, the easiest way is park your car at the Tolby Theater. You only pay $2 for the first two hours for validation. All the nearby stores can...More

Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie
stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day,
tourists flock here from around the world to see the
iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to
catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close.
Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas
the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and
hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night

Did not see any. Perhaps a medical supply company that rents could deliver one to your hotel. Or if you are flying, most airlines will transport your own chair for free. You might need to rent before you go. Sidewalks are... More

You can take pictures of the stars and also the impressions at the Chinese Theater. One word of warning. There are people dressed as super heroes and various other celebrity "look-a-likes". They wander around and draw you... More
