My wife and I had already been here and it was really interesting to see all of the different exhibits they have here dedicated towards science. We decided that this would be a nice trip to show our exchange student from Spain. He really enjoyed the exhibits geared towards the younger generations.

This is a science museum at its best. Great for kids as well. It holds the Endeavor and with scientists who provide an excellent explanation of the exhibit. There is an excellent cafeteria on the premises

This museum has something for every interest. There is an IMAX theatre offering a rotating schedule of a half a dozen films, changing exhibits, a exhibit space devoted to the human body (replete with a gigantic animatronic body), an area devoted to California's habitats, and one of the Space Shuttles on display. Weekday mornings can be very busy with school... More

I had the privilege of reviewing the newest Body Worlds exhibit called "Pulse"! Having seen all three of the previous Body World exhibits, I can tell you that this one is my favorite! This exhibit has some hands-on experiences which are well done! The exhibit has a lot of real human specimen, so allow enough time to see and read... More

The California Science Center is a must-see for families coming to Los Angeles . And for LA residents too. It is a large three-story sprawling building with interests organized around biology, physics, engineering, ecology, and any number of other interesting topics . It usually coordinates special exhibits with an IMAX theater which also shows one or two other IMAX productions... More

Took three teenagers here while in town for the International Science & Engineering fair. They all had a good time. The Endeavor exhibit was their favorite. Lots of school groups touring.

This place is amazing nad has so many interactive things to do. They make science fun and the family has lots to do...not a long day but seems to always have a very stimulating effect when we visit.

I went with my 8 y.o. son, and I had a great time. The Apollo program dedicated area is amazing. Also, you have the Atlantis, wich is really great. There's activities for the children (Space Shuttle simulators!) Love it.

The science center would be a fun casual date. Make sure to add the IMAX viewing- fun and unique. There is the Natural History next door and a lovely rose garden behind the science center.
