Absolutely amazing theater design and acoustics. What a wonderful setting for a wonderful orchestra! We attended a presentation of the philharmonic playing along with the movie West Side Story. It was a perfect evening!

I saw the LA Phil with Gustavo Dudamel at the Walt Disney Concert Hall playing some of Mozart's final compositions and it was a magical experience. The acoustics are incredible and the performance was absolutely top notch. Despite some of the various noises in the...More

The location is an amazing building downtown. Arrive early to walk around the place, even to visit the two museums walking distance. The hall is just beautiful on the inside, full of wood finishings. The Philharmonic orchestra is great, Dudamel, the Venezuelan director is high...More

Highly recommend the balcony seats behind the orchestra. You get to watch Dudamel at work and see things from the perspective of the orchestra. Make sure to attend one of the talks before the concert too.

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
