After seeing this place innumerable times in the movies and on TV, I had to go in person.The views ar amazing, especially downtown LA. I had seen that view often on the screen, but there is also a nice view of the Hollwoood sign.

Yes and much more.. I saw families having picnics. Just try to have as mush disposal items so you are not weighed down on your hike

Absolutely and be sure to bring water / beverages. It can be difficult to find places to eat or a water fountain.
