We're a light-hearted look at the Dark Side of Hollywood. Since 2004 Dearly Departed Tours has provided a 3 hour tour of the Deathstyles of the Rich and Famous. Mae West and Bela Lugosi, to Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, with a side of Hugh Grant and Chris Brown and Rihanna thrown in for good measure. "Creepy, Hilarious, but not for kids or the prissy." - Lonely Planet. Also available, The Helter Skelter Tour - based solely on the Manson Murders. Join Scott Michaels, the host of the documentary, The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter will unravel this bizarre time in American History. American Horror Story based their "Eternal Darkness Tour" on us and we've been featured on Ghost Adventures, Anthony Bourdain's The Layover, E! 20 Most Horrifying Hollywood Murders and The Girls Next Door. In 2017 we opened our Artifact Museum which includes a piece of The Hindenburg, Rock Hudson's death bed, Natalie Wood's prescription bottle and Jayne Mansfield's 1966 Buick death car.

Richard was really fun and very knowledgeable about Hollywoods past and present. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about some of our favorite movie stars. Would definitely recommend. I'm a California native and I'm glad I finally went on the tour.

A absolutely great tour. Our guide, Brian D was awesome. Informative and much more than just “dead people “. It was a blast. Give this tour a try, you will not be disappointed.

Brian our tour guide was excellent, very personal, informative and passionate. In addition to the the death sites, cemetery etc, we were also shown some other interesting sites and buildings etc. Highly recommended tour for those looking for something a little different.

Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie
stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day,
tourists flock here from around the world to see the
iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to
catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close.
Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas
the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and
hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night
