We're a light-hearted look at the Dark Side of Hollywood. Since 2004 Dearly Departed Tours has provided a 3 hour tour of the Deathstyles of the Rich and Famous. Mae West and Bela Lugosi, to Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, with a side of Hugh Grant and Chris Brown and Rihanna thrown in for good measure. "Creepy, Hilarious, but not for kids or the prissy." - Lonely Planet. Also available, The Helter Skelter Tour - based solely on the Manson Murders. Join Scott Michaels, the host of the documentary, The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter will unravel this bizarre time in American History. American Horror Story based their "Eternal Darkness Tour" on us and we've been featured on Ghost Adventures, Anthony Bourdain's The Layover, E! 20 Most Horrifying Hollywood Murders and The Girls Next Door. In 2017 we opened our Artifact Museum which includes a piece of The Hindenburg, Rock Hudson's death bed, Natalie Wood's prescription bottle and Jayne Mansfield's 1966 Buick death car.

Friendly and very knowledgeable tour guide. The tour itself was pretty fun and funny as well considering the subject matter. The group size was just perfect, around 14 guests, so it didn’t feel super crowded. I’d recommend a trip to the museum as well, but...More

My friends and I loved the Dearly Departed Tours Tragical History Tour. It’s informative and great fun. The museum was really interesting! The tour guide, Richard, is kind and funny, and I look forward to coming back to LA for another tour some day!
