Murders, Deaths, Scandals and fun things happened all over Los Angeles. But it's light hearted. Promise.

Dearly Departed Tours is a 3 hour tour of the Deathstyles of the Rich and Famous. Legends from Mae West and Bela Lugosi, to Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. With a side of Hugh Grant and Chris Brown and Rihanna thrown in for good measure.

"Creepy, Hilarious, but not for kids or the prissy." - Lonely Planet

Also available, The Helter Skelter Tour - based solely on the Manson Murders. Join Scott Michaels, the host of the documentary, The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter will unravel this bizarre time in American History.

American Horror Story based their "Eternal Darkness Tour" on us and we've been featured in Anthony Bourdain's The Layover, E! 20 Most Horrifying Hollywood Murders and The Girls Next Door. Hundreds of unedited positive reviews online, Tripatini, Yelp, Yahoo Travel and Tripadvisor.

*** Because of our recent move, the MUSEUM is closed until mid to late April.

Amazing Tour!

Best advice-sit on the left. Most sites of The Tragical History Tour are on the left. Awesome tour, just wish I would've been sitting left.

We had a good time on the tour. It would have been better if the guide had stuck with the tour's main topic and not got into so much personal stuff. We really didn't care about his girlfriend, his preferences in music, his church or his quest for knowledge.

A great time full of exciting info and fun. The guide was a encyclopedia of knowledge on the subject of deaths in Hollywood history.

I've taken the Helter Skelter tour twice, Tragic History Tour 3 times , Horror walking tour once, Movie location tour once, Haunted Hollywood Movie Tour once and I'm signed up for the Karen Carpenter Tour for February. I learn something new on each tour. I tell all my friends about it. Last tour was Dec. 20, 2016.

It was a fun 3 hours in a very comfortable van. The driver/guide was super informative and mixed facts and humor into the tour. We saw many parts of Hollywood and Beverly Hills that we would not have seen on our own. The "museum" with May Wests dentures is funny and I loved the souvenir Tee Shirt that says "Always... More

I visited in December 2016 and did the Tragical and Helter Skelter tours. First of all, Scott Michaels is AWESOME! I missed the start of the tour because I had messed up the time, but he organized to meet me part way during the tour and caught me up on what I had missed out. I have studied criminology at... Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
