I went 2 times, on weekend and on a week day. Both super crowded, but the beach is good to chill, talk, tan a little.

Was able to get out here before sunset and take amazing photos with sunset in the background. Not way too crowded either or loud, plus is the location of the ice cream shop nearby!
We went close to dinner time and the Pier was crowded. There are restaurants on the pier, carnival rides, people fishing, street performers and small souvenir shops. We stayed to see it all lit up at night. Very cool!

we went on a weekend but it is probably crowded any sunny day, nice walk along the pier lots of touristy souvenirs lots of photo opportunities or just take time to people watch
