The Mint is known to be a blues club but I went to see a pop punk band called The City Drive. They had disbanded about 7-8 years ago and were doing a reunion show for the 10th anniversary release of their debut and only album. I was pleasantly surprised that the Mint was a very intimate club. The food... More

Went to an album release party here. It's small but if you want to be up close to an artist playing there then small is better. Valet parking but don't go too early or it won't be open. There's also parking on the side streets.

Caught up with Volto æ The Mint on May 17th. What a Great Show!! That Danny Carey is someone to see, such precision and focus. He is definitely one of my new favs. The venue reminded me of a place that we used to attend in the 80's, old school vibe with a hint of bands passed through. Really enjoyed... More

Went into The Mint for the first time in mid-October for a good dose of some “Americana” music and wasn’t disappointed … 3 bands, 10 bucks, a righteous musical value. There is plenty of Free Parking in the area around The Mint … appeared to be a safe neighborhood (I’m from the other coast) so no worries there. Drinks were... More

Friday night show, and I expected the place to be packed and parking difficult to find. I found a spot right around the corner, probably the closest spot possible when not parking in front. Awesome! The atmosphere is chill and inviting, and I love the intimate setting of the place. The drinks were average priced for this type of venue... More

Went to this club a couple of weeks ago. To my dismay I experienced the most awful service known to mankind. One particular bartender was extremely rude and the wait staff was unapologetic about his behavior. We also overheard some comments made to some patrons who were at the bar about the act that was playing there and just thought... More

Went there last weekend to see a friend of mine's band, for the second time. Last time my wife and I sat at the bar and had drinks and dinner there. This time we were meeting friends, and my wife and I ate before we got there. My friends were already seated at a table when we got there, and... More
