We went for a show last Saturday night- there is a club upstairs where there's a stage to see a group (Pretzel Logic) perform and after the show, a DJ comes out and it becomes a club-club. You can order food from downstairs and drinks from a well stocked bar. My husband had the short rib poutine- Delish! Very flavorful,... More

This restaurant was a former bank...so the inside is unique. The food was excellent..service quick and staff very professional.

This pub/restaurant is a good place to hang out with friends. It is simple but a little expensive we think.

My favorite time to go to The Federal Bar is early, for Happy Hour, before it gets super crowded. The food is always great, generous portions and the service is consistently friendly. Among my favorites are the burger, beet salad and the brunch special on the weekends. I mean, who doesn't like bottomless mimosas?! This is one of go-to spots... More

Came here for a work party after our graduation. We had several plates of different food going around. The mac and cheese was too good. Damn near amazing! The drinks were strong, exactly what I needed. Great atmosphere. The servers were nice and paid close attention. I got their late and hadn't ordered, I looked behind me and ther server... More

I was here with some friends the first time I was in LA, and I absolutely loved the food. I had a burger and some fries...and I'm not a burger-and-fries kind of guy, but the food was fantastic! Decent beer collection. Good staff, and a great valet guy! Good hangout spot. I think there is club upstairs.

Can you say "breakfast poutine"? Yes, it was fabulous, and the price was amazing: 2 brunch entrees with unlimited mimosas for $30. The eggs benedict are so good that my son, who lives in NOHO, seldom orders anything else. By all means order a side of asparagus with poached egg and mustard hollandaise -- delicious.

We came to the Federal Bar for dinner before a show across the street. What a treat. Nice ambiance, very good service and the most important aspect for me is the gluten free options. It is not indicated on the menu, but the waitress, who was extremely cute and nice, pointed out to me what I can have. They also... More

Really good selection of whiskey. There is also a whole wall full of beers behind the bar. Happy hour prices are reasonable. Sparse street treet parking but there is a parking garage behind the Arts Institute building. Garlic fries are really good.
