On a mother & daughter trip, mixing business with pleasure, we decided to just wonder out to TNT General Store to look at boots. Was I kidding myself not buy another pair of boots! That's is like bringing a child into a candy store and we are just looking! Left with boots!

Thought to be the inspiration for a Jim Morrison lyrical reference, as he lived across the road, here. It is full of charm, colour and character, and makes a really good sandwich, too - which you can enjoy on benches provided outside - soaking up some Laurel Canyon ambience and tuning in to bygone times.

A quaint little place in the canyon, stop by for an iced latte or a sandwich. Staff are super friendly. The store offers a selection of deli items / wine / snacks etc and a few gifts. Worth a stop if you're driving past.

Several years ago, detours led us along curvy two-lane roads through layering hills until we happened to find Canyon Country Store. Nestled in the hills we spotted the colorful, cheery store and discovered its laid-back comfort. Inside we found fresh deli sandwiches, pasta salads, organic foods, drinks...plus, wines. Very inviting, quaint. Now we know the map, find the store and... More

We were staying at an Air-B&B place up the canyon and were thrilled to find this legendary place nearby. More a "Restaurant" than an attraction. So many R&R stars of the 1960's hung out here. Jim Morrison lived nearby, as did Frank Zappa, The Monkees, members of the Byrds and Buffalo Springfield, Joni Mitchell and others. It's sort of a... More

We went into Laural Canyon while visiting Hollywood. We started at the Canyon Country Store. We found a short travel tour on the internet of some of the 1960s rock and rock talent and history from this area. It was an enjoyable experience to visit the roots of rock and roll in the LA area. To our surprise the traffic... More

I love the Canyon Country Store! Sweet little spot to stop in and grab some food, wine or whatever you need. Great pit stop after winding around the Canyon :)

What an interesting store! We stopped on our way down from driving Mulholland Dr. It is a small grocery and deli. The egg salad sandwich was delicious! Great if you need to stop for a recharge.
