I've been to the town of Mendocino several times and for some reason never wandered across the street... there are meandering trails along the headlands. This is not a big hike...just a wander. Go, explore and enjoy! We loved hearing the waves as they crash...More

A must see. Very breathtaking. Be sure to bring your camera. A light jacket is also recommended, since there is a tong head wind.

I do believe this was my second favorite spot along the coast of California. The walk was very nice along the edges of the cliffs (I’d be very careful with small children here though). The scenery was picturesque and I’d imagine the sunsets are beautiful...More

When visiting the area don't pass this by. We visited on our way out of town and are so glad we didn't skip it. The views are beautiful when its clear and when the fog is coming in.

Walking by the edge of the cliffs in Mendocino is lovely. Lots of interest in the sea crashing against the rocks. Different views from every spot along the path.

You can't beat the view from the Mendocino Headlands. A rugged coastline, a wide open bay, and the quaint town of Mendocino stretched out along the shore. Better yet, the walk is short, flat, and easy. Enhot!

Walk around the small headland of Mendocino with the gorgeous old homes and buildings of the town looking out over the Stat park and the Bay;rugged wild coast and waters with lots of historical aspects. A melodramatically beautiful spot.

It's just a short hike behind the church, down to the beach. There is a fantastic island in the river, but bring something to float on, because the water is COLD. The ever-present fog/mist rolls in here most of the time, but if you travel...More
