Monterey Bay is breathtaking. The state has done an amazing job of preserving the area for the wildlife and their natural habitats. The beaches were vey clean and accessible.

It is one of the most beautiful beaches of California offering a lot of activities to tourists with a classical touch of ancient heritage. 17 Mile drive within a driving distance is an added advantage.

We moved to Monterey from the east Coast in 2001. In the time since, we have been constantly exploring the Monterey Bay coast from Santa Cruz to Point Lobos and down to Big Sur. If you want to experience one of the worlds greatest shoreline...More

Walkable in the downtown or by cannery row. Lots of sea life with pretty streets and vistas. Walk to the beach or to the pier.

All up and down Monterey, well, the California coast really, is some very rugged, unspoiled and beautiful vistas of where the land meets the Pacific.

Scaled down version of old San Francisco. One of the best aquqriq in the world. Skip the restaurants on the Warfs. Most of them are over priced mediocre restaurants.

This place is amazing and scenic in every way. One can sit and look out at the water for hours. The marine life are adorable to watch and are plentiful here in the bay. Such a beautiful place that is very memorable as well.

Ton's to do and the weather is mostly cool year round. Can be rainy in January though. 17 Mile drive is awesome, Lover's point, Cannery Row, the Aquarium was packed last month but was a weekend.
