Our Family enjoyed the sights of the 17 Mile drive which took us two hours with stopping and taking pictures.

The views are nice, but better other places without the traffic. I suggest driving in pacific grove, where you can get on the beach.

Beautiful views and lots of stops to make. Wasn’t completely blown away by it but was a nice thing to do.

We debated paying the fee for the drive and went ahead and did it. It was beautiful and it did save us some time, we were heading south and to go around would've taken longer. I've seen lovely homes and yards, I wanted to see...More

We were really disappointed to find that they charge you to drive this. The roads around Monterey are just as beautiful and we felt they were exploiting visitors when the area is obviously already very affluent. We might have missed a gem but principals meant...More

Well worth the $10.25 for the remarkable scenery! We went in January of 2018 and are already planning a return trip! Going at your own pace, you are able to stop and take in the breathtaking views at your leisure.

This is one of those things you just have to do at least once. There is a fee to go in; I believe it's $10 (bring cash). The scenic route is gorgeous! There are plenty of designated areas to stop and park so you can...More

This is a must. Take in beautiful scenery on a nice drive at your own pace. Plenty of photo ops for your scrapbook our photo collage. The scenery never disappoints.

It's pretty, a nice drive. It's nothing you can't see by just driving down Highway One. But it was worth the ten bucks to be able to see all the views so close to the hotel in Monterey. Otherwise it would have been a much...More

Save your receipt from the toll and stop at the Lodge at Pebble Beach for a drink. You get some credit when you spend over a certain amount. We did this drive close to sunset, and it can't be beat!

On 17 Mile Drive there are stops where you can get out and the shore is right there. Most places have handicap parking so bring your parking card

Remember the homes you can "see" while driving along the 17 mile drive are PRIVATE homes and if you trespass or act too nosy around their property line they may not like it. The private houses are not part of a tour even... More

Unless you are an experienced bike rider, I would suggest not riding bikes. The drive is very curvy and somewhat hilly, plus, you wouldn't be able to take in all the scenery.
