The most beautiful 17 mile drive in America. Don't miss it, stop and take photos, take a walk and breath the fresh ocean air.

This is a great drive. $10 entry fee, many stopping points along the way. Unfortunately for us it had rained a lot during the few days prior to our visit land even a little during the drive. We still managed to get out of the car and check out certain places of interest. A bonus for us was seeing the... More

Fantastic views and worth the 10 dollar admission. We came in January and it was still gorgeous. Absolutely worth it.

We followed Goggle Maps. We got there okay but didnt know there was a $10 enterance fee. The drive is amazing with lots of pullouts, each with a different view. We saw two different herds of deer aling the way, and a whale was spotted off shore. My companion really wanted to see the golf course at Pebble Beach. Its... More

Who lives in these incredible mansions along the 17-mile drive? Clint Eastwood, Charles Schwab, Condoleeza Rice to name a few. See the iconic lone cypress tree that is 250 years old and is to Monterey what the pyramids are to Egypt and the Eiffel Tower is to Paris. One of the most photographed trees in North America. Good for a... More

The drive hasn't changed much over the years. The Lone Cypress and Pebble Beach are always highlights. Much of the drive includes views of the mansions owned by the upper crust. Start at Pacific Grove and head toward Carmel.

To have access to the Drive you need to pay US10 if I am not mistaken. Do It!!!!!! it is totally worth it. The views: amazing!! The houses: right out of architectural magazines. Plenty of spots to take pictures. It is really a need to do attraction for this area.

We took our kids and drove down the coast from SF to LA. We stopped along the way to do the 17 mile drive and so happy we did. There's 17 or 18 different points you can stop and we hit about 4 of them. The coast line is magnificent and the scenery is like no other in the United... More

The views are phenomenal. Make sure to allow enough time - at least half a day - you'll be stopping a lot plus traffic can get BAD at times. Bring a picnic lunch or snack and a camera. Enjoy!
