Fast pickup round of golf

This was a very close course to play a quick round of golf before heading out traveling again. Weather was great too!

Very friendly people, reasonable rates and good Pro's to take some lessons. Also try some food at the Grill after your activities.

We stayed at the Monterey Pines Campground managed by the Monterey Pines Golf Course. Finding it was difficult as there are no signs directing where to go from outside the Golf Course. The Golf Course is beautifully maintained but the campground is not. It is very outdated and dangerous due to constant golf balls landing in the campground. There is... More

Shorter course. Almost Executive in nature. Some nice views. Right next to the Monterey Airport and planes take off right over the 2nd hole. Kind of cool when the military jets come in for touch and go's. Easily walkable but plenty of carts too. I walked two 18's in one day. Starters, marshals, club house staff and pro shop staff... Short, but challenging course run by US Navy. Fun, inexpensive, well maintained. Course is walkable, has water features, some elevation. Carts have GPS. Small pro shop with limited selection.

I played this course while on holiday. The staff were all very friendly and made you feel welcome. The course is very short but in very good condition. The back 9 holes are stunning. I would play here again

I started my birthday trip off with a trip to the driving range. Love the range and the course looked great. I would recommend stopping in if you love golf

Decided to go golfing while we were here. It was my first round of golf ever and I had fun. A beginner type course which was good for me and my boyfriend felt really good about his first round of the year. The guy who checked us in was really nice and the price was really reasonable. Nothing scenic about... More

Monterey Pines is very good for what it is - a well maintained, short, entertaining, and inexpensive golf course. If it's Oktoberfest or Jazz Festival time at the adjacent fairgrounds think about playing somewhere else unless you like musical golf.

Nice little course for high handicappers. Also got a great deal on Golf Now. Played the course twice. Greens are in great shape and fast. Will play again and again.....
