My wife and I jogged on this trail a couple mornings on our vacation. It is well maintained and at no time did we not feel safe. There were plenty of other joggers, walkers and cyclists on the path.

Great walk, great wildlife, sea, and day. Walked the trail from the wharf to the aquarium and stopped at cannery row shops, starbucks, and historical sights along the way. Was a wonderful day in monterey area.
