Friendly and knowledgeable crew. Saw tons of whales and sea lions. Gave great background of the marine enviornment. Boat a little old but comfortable and functional. Boat had a covered inside area out of the wind with seating. Swells ok. No one got sick. The...More

I reserved the boat for a small party of 7 about 4 months in advance. Several days before the trip I got a call from Chris' Fishing first confirming that we were fishing on the date reserved and then briefly mumbling about a "problem" they...More

Experience of a lifetime for our family. The check in guy on the pier was so friendly. Upon boarding we were worried that only indoor seats remained but it wasn't a big deal at all. We dropped our stuff and stood outside most of the...More

We went on the 10am trip, it was a near perfect day for going on the water. We saw loads of whales, dolphins and jelly fish. The chaps on the boat were really helpful and great at spotting.

This is our third trip with Chris's, and each time has been unique. This trip we saw orcas and humpbacks interacting, and the humpbacks actually passed beneath the boat while a huge herd (?) of sea lions cavorted nearby. There were dolphins as well. It...More

This trip was better than we could ever have anticipated. Small boat which we preferred to the large impersonal boats . We had a very knowledgable crew and an interesting commentary. We saw more whales than we could count including a pod of hump backs....More

Quite remarkable 2.5 hours journey. The small boat allows for getting pretty close to the big mammals. It can get a bit rocky though, in case you know you're sensitive. The crew, namely Peter and the Captain were super welcoming.

It was brilliant, the team follow the whales as best they can whilst of course being very considerate, but it means that you get to see so much, we even saw a mother and calf! Highly recommend, maybe just check the likelihood of spotting them...More

We were just there yesterday (8/27). The boat leaves from the main wharf/pier and there is no elevator from the top/main area down to the next level where you get onto the boat. The only way down that we saw was to use the... More
