We were scheduled for Friday at 1:30PM for whale watching. The traffic was herendous so we were running behind. Low and behold we get a call from Chris' Whale watching stating that the boat would sail at 1PM. Needless to say we were pretty upset because we would of been there at 1. We scratched our sailing with no explanation... More

Well worth doing, seeing the whales in their natural environment is unforgettable. This company load videos and information of sightings each day so you do feel confident you will get to see the whales. We were lucky enough to see a full breach which is unforgettable. A 3 hour trip is long enough but we all really loved it, saw... More

We booked this trip after reading online reviews – and we were so glad we did. The boat is quite small but that means not too many people! We saw whales and dolphins. It is an unforgettable experience. I was worried about feeling poorly as I’m mot the best of travellers but I was fine.

After watching whales in South Africa and on the BBC programme The Big Blue we decided to visit California and especially Monterey to see the whales again. We booked this trip from UK after a recommendation from Merritt House our accommodation in Monterey. We were not disappointed. We arrived on a lovely, calm, warm and sunny day. Our trip was... More

Very good trip, seems like a small boat at first but that enables you to get close in to the whales. Good value, excellent and well informed commentary. The main thing is it gets you to where the whales are and for a good long time too. Also saw dolphins and loDs of bird life. Definitely would recommend taking this... More

The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Every trip that they do they have a video cameraman with them who captures all the best moments and the clips and are available to download to a memory card or view on YouTube later. This is great if you find that you have not captured the pictures to your satisfaction as... More

Relatively small boat, so about 60 people on board as a max. The staff took the time to talk to us whilst on board and ensure we were looking in the right places and seeing the best sights. We saw seals, dolphins and hump back whales. Truly amazing to see! Trip is about 3 hours which is just right.

This is a must do if you are visiting Monterey. We spent an hour reaching the whales, but it was worth every minute. The whales are graceful and majestic.

We took a half day whale watching trip and were rewarded with fine views of blue and humpback whales, plus also three species of seal (harbour, elephant and southern fur), sea lions and sea otters. We are interested in birds and we also observed, more or less continuously throughout the trip, a fantastic variety of seabirds - pelicans, albatrosses, shearwaters,... More
