Affordable and excellent ski hill!

I went to this hill for the first time March 9th 2017 (it's been a great year for snow!) And it was excellent. The staff who fitted my dad with skis were friendly and helpful. The hill itself ranges from really easy to somewhat difficult. There are a lot of runs for beginner level skiers or people like me who... More

We are visiting from UK and my friend we stayed with drive us up here. Great views, twisty mountain road which added to the adventure. Great views. It was still snowy in some places towards the top. People were hiking and went up the ski lifts at the top. We had a guest who was unable to do this so... More

If your looking for a quick mountain drive up and down this one is it. Just made this drive a few weeks ago. Just a Sunday drive. Mountain air at the top. Ski resort at the end of the road. It really is a dead end at the ski resort. It must be a little treacherous during the winter but... More

It's a really nice nature drive up the mountains from Redlands / I-210, filled with a curvy, twisty & winding road - glad it's not in the winter time! Very picturesque & scenic area! Enjoy...

Very fun drive up the mountains at least in Spring when no snow is there. Any car will generally do outside of snow season (otherwise u need chains and maybe 4x4 dependant on conditions). The town of Mt Baldy is like going back in time, a nice bar and restaurant is offered. The end of the road is the ski... More

We had a nice day driving up the mountain. We stopped several times along the way to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. Also stopped for lunch at a local restaurant.

Make sure you have good brakes. The drive is short, and the views are great. Amazing to be at 80 degrees and sunny in LA, and drive less than 45 minutes to the scenic snow.

It's a beautiful drive up to Mt. Baldy (the town) from Claremont, CA. Plenty of side turnouts / lookouts that let you see river beds and snow-capped mountains (in the winter season). The town itself is rather rustic (like it's 1963 and nothing has changed), but that's part of its charm. Everyone in the town is friendly. Plenty of hiking... More

The zig zagged roads are compensated by the gorgeous views as you get higher up the mountain. The town nearby is a great rest stop to just look around

I love twisty roads driving, especially in a compact rent a car! I would of feel the zoom zoom if I was in a Mazda...oh ya, I was (Ford fiesta SE). Truly enjoyed the scenery. I love the fact that these is a warning signs for those who are thinking about going a little faster than posted limit. Taking my... More
