Great mountain for local skiing!

We had an awesome day at Mt Shasta! Part of it was due to it being a powder day, but it was better than expected knowing it was a small park. Great "side-country" tree lines off... read more

We are not skiers, but took the kids here for a few hours of tubing. It was a lot of fun! And safe! The lanes are individually made, some with little jumps. The tubes were really nice. The guys working there were super nice and added to the fun times.

We skied the last week of the season, not knowing what we'd get. We were happily surprised that the snow was in good shape first thing in the morning. The groomed slopes were well done and those that didn't get groomed were chunky, but still skiable. By lunchtime, however, the spring temperatures started working on the snow, and conditions quickly... More

My first, and last time at Mt Shasta. I was travelling with a registered service dog, and after long drive before skiing we go for walk, buy lift tickets, and check out area. Upon walking up driveway, employee comes out and tells me pets aren't allowed. I explained this was a service dog, but he then asked me what was... More

One of my absolutely favorite places to ski and snowboard. Cool, relaxed and beautiful. Avoid the Tahoe crowds and overpricing. A bit far if you are from the SF Bay Area but worth it because of the gorgeous scenery, friendly atmosphere and cool people.

For me and my husband, it cost us $50 less to do night skiing here than it did for ONE of us to ski at the cheapest place in Tahoe. Great place to learn to ski, great little lodge, beautiful view of the mountain, and they have a nice "ski valet" service for you to take breaks

We had an awesome day at Mt Shasta! Part of it was due to it being a powder day, but it was better than expected knowing it was a small park. Great "side-country" tree lines off the Coyote lift and the terrain parks are top notch also. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the chairlifts and... More

Great day skiing. Need to make easier transition from snow to patio area. Was very slippery. Need to put benches by lockers. No where to sit down where lockers are, so people were sitting on the stairs blocking access to hand rails. Much less expensive than Tahoe and less crowds.

The best ski park in this general area. If you can't go to the world class places, this is great. Lots of other things to do in the area, so come to enjoy the skiing and stay to enjoy the rest of Mt Shasta.

This a a great smaller resort with slower lifts and...... interesting grooming. If you are in the area during winter, it is a very inexpensive and fun mountain. It is also a great place to learn and has awesome instructors. Best to go mid-week and pack some snacks

Although you need chains to get up the last mile of the road ( when snow permits and no 4 wheel drive or AWD) - the Skiing, Snow quality and less crowded venue rewards you with an excellent day. A cute restaurant and bar satisfies at the end of the day - and very nice locals operating the place provide... More
